Here you are offered a balanced relationship between resistance to wear and toughness simultaneously.

Spare parts of this variant are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains persistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is even in relation to its life cycle.

Hardfacing or welding on this option should be avoided, as the structure will otherwise be fundamentally weakened. This can lead to breakages and machine damage.

 

Fastening in the machine:

When installing the rotor knife, please assure that it is only adapted to knife holders or knife crossbars with a flat contact surface in order to prevent breakage.
